Stream-line was born out of a need to ensure that tasks are succinctly communicated and allocated within an organisation. At the heart of this, Stream-line is a task management and communication tool. The development of the system has been on-going for a number of years and as it evolved, it became apparent that everything that happens in an organisation is, in essence, a task.

The tasks that are done by an organisation and how they get done, uniquely defines the organisation. Yet little thought is given to how tasks flow and how they transport responsibility. The problem is that a lot of effort is expended on communication (telephones, e-mails, faxes, meetings, sticky notes), but very little attention is given to the management of their outcome.
Stream-Line solves this disparity by simple, yet succinctly, allocating a task to a responsible party, while keeping the originating party in the loop. A task always returns to the originator for acceptance and in this way the quality control feedback loop becomes an integral part of the process.
